Thornapple Painting is a local, independent painting company proudly serving Ada, Cascade, Knapp, and the Greater Grand Rapids area. Named after the Thornapple River, our business reflects the same care and connection we have to the communities along its banks. We specialize in residential exterior painting and staining, working with all siding types including wood, aluminum, HardiePlank, brick, stucco, and vinyl. Every project is completed with attention to detail, high-quality paints and stains, and a focus on long-term durability. We also offer soft washing services, trim painting, and free color consultations to help homeowners achieve a clean, lasting finish they can be proud of.
About the Owner
Thornapple Painting was founded by Devon Sanders, a Grand Rapids native who built the company from the ground up. Devon graduated from Grand Valley State University and Michigan State University and has always been passionate about helping people improve and protect their homes. When he’s not working, he enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his wife and two daughters. Devon’s strong work ethic and local roots drive the company’s mission to provide honest service, dependable results, and exceptional quality for every homeowner.
